In the last year, in Los Angeles, a new space entirely dedicated to photography opened: The Annenberg Space for Photography.

Every week they have a free Iris talk with well known photographers, editors, and other experts related to their current exhibit. They offer workshops and a wonderful environment to learn. The museum, talks and workshops are all free and limited only by space.

If you visit Los Angeles this is a place photographers must visit. Their current sports exhibit is moving and inspiring.

What photography dedicated exhibit spaces have you visited and would recommend to a visiting photographer? Places that you would return to again and again, local to you or some place you've visited before.

The have a constant stream of Exhibitions there (though I think it's limited to one exhibition at a time)

They also run photography courses (digi & film), workshops, darkroom courses & run talks and seminars from people in the industry.

I've been there in the summer 2008. We spent some time looking at th exhibits and in their nice bookshop that's packed with everything. – Michael McCarty Jan 15 at 17:57
